Shell Leaning Against Selling Basell to NPC?
Dow Jones reported this afternoon that Royal/Dutch Shell Group is leaning toward selling Basell N.V., its joint venture with BASF AG, to the Indian consortium rather than to Iran's National Petrochemical because of the political issues involved in dealing with a country the Bush administration has labeled an outpost of tyranny.
