The U.S. & Foreign Commercial Service's Trade Advocacy and Multilateral Development Bank Center and the National Foreign Trade Council are sponsoring a conference entitled "Open the Banks: A Guide for U.S. Companies to Navigate and Take Advantage of Procurement Opportunities at the Multilateral Development Banks." The conference will take place on April 25, 2005 and will be held in the Department of Commerce's Main Auditorium in Washington, DC. The conference, which will feature speakers from the U.S. Government, World Bank and other multilateral banks, will discuss how U.S. companies can utilize the resources of the World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, Asian Development Bank, African Development Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
