Container Security Initiative Established at World's 20 Largest Seaports

The Bureau of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced yesterday that the U.S.-sponsored Container Security Initiative (CSI) is now operational at the port of Piraeus, Greece. CSI is now in effect at the 20 largest container ports in the world. These ports are located in 18 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and North America.
